This timeless elegant piece has been given several coats of black paint then I have applied lacquer to seal. 

To contrast with the dark sumptuous black exterior, the interior of the drawer has been painted in a light ochre.

The construction is solid with no wobbles.

 It would make the perfect addition to any room to display a lamp or to elevate your favourite plant.
