Vintage Ercol Quaker Chairs

A set of vintage 4 Ercol chairs

These beauties have had the dark stain removed from the Elm seats to allow the grain of the timber to shine through. The seats have then been sealed with Osmo Oil then a final coat of Gilboys organic beeswax polish to really enhance the figuring in the Elm.

The Beech legs, hoops and spindles have been painted in a striking black paint that has been seal with lacquer. This creates a striking contrast to the rich tones of the seat.

We currently have a vintage Ercol square drop leaf table in stock that is the perfect match for this set.
