Vintage Bureau

I had a clear idea of how I wanted to go about refreshing this elegant Edwardian bureau, it had to be black with a touch of brass added by the new fair trade handles, not to distract from the clean lines of the piece.

We adapted the interior of this vintage piece to suit todays needs.

Taking out he old slots for storing paper, envelopes etc and replaced with fewer new storage compartments to fit a laptop and art supplies.

Apparently it also suits the storage of alcohol too and is now being used as a drinks cabinet by it's new custodian Lauren.
