Small Vintage Ercol Rocking Chair Restoration and Repair

Our client brought us this little chair with a split in the seat and stained a darker colour as the chair in the second picture.

We stripped the old dark stain and set about repairing a reinforcing the seat with a plate beneath to prevent any further splitting. Then we oiled the whole chair and finished it with a coat of Organic beeswax polish.
