Mid century Ercol 383 with black base.

A vintage Ercol 383 drop leaf table that we have revived.

The base been prepared and then painted with several several coats of Satin paint which has then been sealed with lacquer for durability. The top has been given the usual ‘umbrella’ treatment of removing the old worn finish  before oiling to enhance and protect the beautiful elm timber.

This is a classic Ercol circa 1960 with a modern twist.

The table will seat 2 with both sides folded, 4 comfortably when extended or a cosy 6 people. 
A very versatile, practical and well crafted piece of furniture.
